Micah Johnson graduated from Luther College with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He went on to graduate from St. Ambrose University with a master's degree in social work. For several years, he worked as a social worker and therapist before returning to law school.

He graduated with honors from Drake University Law School in 2017. He has been licensed to practice law in Iowa since 2018. After law school, Micah clerked for Chief Judge Kurt Wilke of the Second Judicial District of Iowa. Micah then proudly served the community as a public defender in Scott County, Iowa. In that role, he handled hundreds of cases and successfully defended clients charged with crimes ranging from simple marijuana possession and drunk driving up to and including first degree murder. He joined Betty, Neuman & McMahon in 2022.

Micah resides in Davenport with Winston the cat. In his free time, Micah enjoys spending time with his friends and family, running, traveling, and skydiving.
