Paul Salabert Jr.

Paul Salabert, Jr. joined Betty, Neuman & McMahon in June 2023. Paul graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and Northwestern School of Law in Chicago, IL. During law school Paul worked as a public defender with a student license for the Rock Island County Public Defender’s office. After law school, he worked for a law firm in Rock Island, IL as a workers’ compensation and personal injury litigation attorney. He then worked for a Davenport, IA law firm for 19 years also doing workers’ compensation and personal injury work first as an associate and later as a shareholder. Most recently, Paul worked for an Iowa City, IA law firm until joining Betty, Newman & McMahon.

Paul is an experienced litigator with over 20 years of legal experience. During his career, he gained extensive litigation experience representing individuals, insurance companies, and corporations. He has litigated and been involved in claims involving personal injuries, workers’ compensation, American with Disabilities Act, employment discrimination, Family and Medical Leave Act, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination.

Paul resides in Iowa City with his wife, Catherine. In his free time, Paul enjoys travel, participating in triathlons and cheering on the Northwestern Wildcats.
