Steve Jacobs has been practicing law in Iowa since 1974 when he joined Betty, Neuman & McMahon, PLC. A graduate of the University of Iowa in Business with a major in Accounting and the University of Iowa College of Law (with distinction), Steve served four years as an attorney in the United States Army as a Captain in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps with a tour of duty in Vietnam. After service, Steve attended New York University College of Law where he received a Masters Degree in Law in Taxation. Steve practices in the areas of business, estate planning and elder law issues. He was appointed and served as Chairman of Iowa Board of Tax Review and has served as the Treasurer of the Scott County Bar Association as Treasurer since 1980.
